Who Are We?

Tldr: We are eclectic authors, obsessed readers, and business-savvy nerds. We’ve taken publishing into our own hands to bring great works out from the shadows and into the light, where they belong.

Because, clearly, we weren’t getting enough stress from just writing books—we figured we’d throw running a business into the mix too!

We understand what it feels like to navigate the journey alone as an author.

We’ve been there—reading countless books, watching endless videos, trying to decide between self-publishing for the control, traditional publishing for the pride, or indie publishing for that modern, hands-on approach.

We know what it’s like to pour your heart into a book, only to watch it gather dust on a shelf, always wondering if it was ever truly good enough.

This is fine meme

So, obviously...

So, we did what any totally rational, non-obsessed people would do… poured a ridiculous amount of monies, years, and caffeine into researching publishing, marketing, hiring editors, illustrators—you name it, we probably did it.

Worked in it, hired it, studied it, slept in it and woke up with it in our hair.

At some point (probably during an epic 3 AM brainstorming session), we had a wild thought:

“Well, we’ve kinda been everywhere in this industry. We’ve worked with the top, bottom, and middle… shouldn’t we just, y’know, start a publishing house? For authors, by authors. For readers, by readers.”

And honestly, why not? Why can’t we have a publishing house that’s run by people who actually read books and don’t just use them as doorstops?

Why can’t we build something that blends the best of both worlds—where passionate readers and obsessive writers join forces to rule the bookish universe?

I'd like both meme

We started as Gamelit and LitRPG Addicts

We’re not just publishers—we’re readers, writers, dreamers, dorks. Happy, sad, good days, bad days, and those boring ones in between.

And, as the fates would have it, we found our people. Friends who felt the same. People from all over the industry that want nothing more than to lift up writers and provide incredible stories.

People that believe that a rising tide lifts all boats. People that have all of our admiration and support.

But it’s crazy, right?

Isn’t this supposed to be a doggy-dog world?

Well, not when you find your people.

And they’re a freakin’ unstoppable force of storytelling badasses!

Picture this: a ragtag group of nerds with keyboards and too much caffeine, coming together to turn words into world-shattering, brain-bending, jaw-dropping tales.

Our Publisher origin story?

Think The Magnificent Seven, but replace the horses with laptops, and the guns with…well, still weapons, but cooler, and more metaphorical. The assassin, the cowboy, the alien—all here, all in, taking on the Wild West of modern indie publishing.

Shoutouts to the Team

Shoutout on Discord to @Misses for making covers that belong in museums. Our editing is top-notch, too, thanks to @niinamo, who doesn’t just fix your mistakes—she makes sure your story sings like it’s starring in the next Trolls movie.

And don’t even get us started on our ads and media teams.

Derivative works? TV, movies? That’s the goal! Long shot? There have been longer.

But here’s the thing. The number one reason we’ve seen authors struggle isn’t because they didn’t have marketing, or because their book wasn’t edited to perfection—though those help. No, the biggest reason authors stumble is that they don’t have a team. A team to push them, to believe in them, to insist that they keep going when the road got tough.

Sometimes, success is a lightning bolt, a flash of brilliance that happens overnight. But more often, it’s persistence. It’s writing that next book, and the one after that. It’s fine-tuning, it’s working with a developmental editor, it’s having someone to toss ideas around with.

It’s having people in your corner who believe in you.

And that’s what we’re here for.

We get it. We’ve been there.

And we know how hard it is to stay patient and persistent.

Support is everything. And yeah, we’re a little dramatic, but we seriously think helping creators is basically a humanitarian mission.

Stories give people hope.

New ideas, wild dreams—that’s what keeps the future bright and worth having.

Our in-house team and contacts are taking care of print, digital, audiobooks, and potential adaptations.

You dream it, we help make it real. That’s the gig. Simple.

You can do it meme, gif

Now, full disclosure, we don’t accept everyone. We can only take on what we can, and we do have a pretty thorough process of determining if we will accept the manuscript.

We aren’t a “pay-to-play” publisher or someone in a high tower sorting manuscripts, tossing authors out the window for not fitting into the mold.

That said, if your work isn’t yet ready, we can give pointers and guidance on how to get it there.

We are a young publishing house, and we are learning, just like you.

We are truly here for you and want to do everything in our power to help you make it.

You bring the lyrics, and we’ll bring the cowbell.

So, yeah, maybe this “About Us” ran a little long. But whatever. This is our publishing house, our rules, and we’re just getting started.

From your team –

 @Fobywoby @MisfitMonkie @Misses @niinawo @MrWhiskers

and @All the wonderful people that make this possible.
